B’yondEDC Knives named its premium division Terra Mundi, latin for “The World”, in commemoration of the formation of the company from teams around the globe coming together and melding into a whole that's greater than the sum of its parts.
For over 20 years, the B’yondEDC Knives’ team has worked on numerous projects with various clients, honed their craft, and grew with experience. One of the biggest aspirations of the team is to set the goal for a global stage and show what is possible in the knife community under its own branding, to emerge from the background onto the stage. In 2020, the opportunity came, and the team leapt at the chance. Testing the water with internal designs showcasing their skills at building a robust daily carry tool for users of every spectrum, the team wasted no time in leveraging their advantage.
The second half of 2020 is proving to be an, as they say, “interesting times”. B’yondEDC Knives, quickly adjusting to the fluid situation and sped up its integration into the outdoor and knife market as a fully featured brand eager to show what it can do.
